Why should lectures only be in classrooms?

Procedures of plant production in organic agriculture I will start this October at the experimental station in Gross-Enzersdorf. Instead of showing endless slides we will step out of the classroom and take a look at our new invented demonstration field.

Plowing is a traditional way of soil management and often used, mulch seeding instead is more conservative and a "modern" way of agriculture. But where are the assets and drawbacks of these different approaches? Crop rotation is the next big issue in this demo field. Therefore we have six cash crops (spring and winter cultivars) and many different cover crops. Instead of showing endless slides we will step out of the classroom and take a look at our new invented demonstration field.
